The American Red Cross of Central Florida needs the support of the corporate community to continue to prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies throughout Central Florida. Your business or corporation can show its support in a variety of ways, all of which ultimately will improve the lives of so many in our community.

I. Naming Opportunities
* Training Room: $100,000
* Auditorium: $100,000
* Training & Business Development Office: $100,000 (Named after Mr. Luis Salazar)
* Emergency Services Office: $100,000
* Financial Development Conference Room: $100,000
* Administrative Office Conference Room: $100,000 * Reception Area: $500,000

II. Programs
A. Disaster Services:
* Wireless link laptops for Disaster Action Team per county = $3,000.00
* Nurse kits for disaster response (containers and medical supplies)= $ 4,500.00
* GPS for Damage Assessment Teams (20 x $450) = $9,000
* Nextel Radios (60 networked and permanently activated) for Disaster Communications = $ 9,000
* Printing of information/educational brochures = $10,000
* Volunteer Training in several Emergency Services functions = $11,600
* Pre-staged 15-foot shelter trailer per county (with cots and blankets) for disaster deployment = $24,000
* Disaster Operations Center Technology - Wireless laptops, Printers, Copier = $ 26,600
* Generator for Osceola Service Center = $30,000
* Satellite Communications Link-up Truck with GPS and Generator = $43,450

B. Training & Business Development
* Safe Swim Initiative: 3,000 at-risk children enrolled in Learn-to-Swim Program, 261,000 elementary school-age children in water safety (Longfellow's W.H.A.L.E. Tales), 207 Elementary School Teachers Trained in W.H.A.L.E. Tales, 3,000 at-risk individuals in the new First Aid and CPR for Today's Family course, 1,500 additional community members in First Aid and CPR for Today's Family and W.H.A.L.E. Tales courses = $444,771 (over a 3-year period)
* April Pools Day - Train 1,000 backyard pool owners in Community Water Safety = $35,000
* National Convention Youth Services Chaperone's Travel and Maintenance = $2,000 per year
* Boys & Girls Clubs Blended Learning Grant - train 1,000 low-income family high school seniors in Adult CPR/AED through the blended learning training program so they may complete their Life Management requirement for high school graduation = $25,000
* Two Washer & Dryer Combinations for Orange County and Osceola County Service Centers - to decontaminate mannequin supplies in a more expeditious and economical manner = $2,200
* Youth Services Specialist - Full Time Employee Position to establish and support active American Red Cross Clubs tri-county elementary, middle and high schools as well as colleges and universities: $18,000 annual salary (benefits estimated at $2,700)
* Youth Services Teacher Stipends - for faculty member required to oversee each Red Cross Club (an after-school program) = $768 per Red Cross Club
* Adopt-A-Mannequin Program - Replace all adult and infant CPR training mannequins = $35,000
* Course Schedule Underwriting = $10,000 per year for two schedules
* CPR Saturday Training Event - Provide free training to 1,000 community members in Child & Infant CPR/AED, water safety and layers of protection against drowning/immersion injury = $40,000
* CPR Marathon for Guinness Book of World Records - Invite professional rescuer teams of four to participate in a week-long event to break the existing team CPR Guinness World Record (current record is 144 hours at Merry Hill Shopping Centre, West Midlands, England from September 20-26, 1998) = $10,000
